Somerville Media Center

During the summer of 2019 the Somerville Media Center hosted a summer camp for children that focused on introducing them to the numerous forms of media that we consume every day. The goal of these programs was to give kids the tools that they need to lead change in our society. Through learning how to create and produce various forms of media such as podcasts and television, the hope is that the participants leave the summer with a passion for using media to lead change in their communities.

The best way to better the community is to invest in the future, and that is exactly what the help of SEF provided for the lucky recipients of these summer scholarships.
