Mystic Learning Center

The Mystic Learning Center hosts great programs year-round, but during the summer of 2019 they provided the Summer and School Vacation Camp. This program provided 40 low-income children with a fulfilling summer experience. Running all day, the camp allowed for children to spend time in a safe environment during the day where they also gain experience in everything from sports to art.

Due to the goal of supporting low-income children, the Mystic Learning Center and the community benefited greatly from the support of the Somerville Education Fund. Ordinarily these kids would not have been able to afford a camp for the entire summer, so to be able to supply such an enriching experience for 4 lucky children is a fantastic cause and is only possible thanks to the SEF donors.
